The Darling of Australia’s club scene, Minx returns with her new single Hold On – a dark & moody timeless gem.
Known for her usual hands in the air feel good tracks, Minx has co-produced & mixed up a track that still demands you have them up there, but manages to tug on your heart strings too.
At the centre of Hold On are hypnotic vocals of Triple J unearthed singer/songwriter Hannah Joy, which recall the heady highs of Florence Welch and London Grammar.
Co-produced with Chris Arnott (‘Heaven’), Hold On takes the breathtaking lyrics and piano groove of Hannah’s slow-burning original track and hotwires it with a vital Minx house pulse that sends it skyward.
The trio have formed such a tight chemistry, that in between making their own music they are currently working on follow up tracks. The Hold On EP features five songs, an original edit of the single, and extended version as well as three killer remixes by three of Australia’s best beat-makers; Denzal Park, Sonny Fodera & Daggers.
Minx has travelled the world DJ’ing with the likes of Madeon, Diplo, Deadmau5, Erick Morillo & Tiesto. She has also spun at the Grammy Awards after-party in LA and Brit Awards in London playing tunes to the likes of Coldplay & The Gorillaz.
Over the past year, Minx has played to audiences in Australia’s biggest clubs including Pacha, Marquee, Electric Circus, Platinum and more and is set to play at this year’s Stereosonic Festival and her own national tour.

Robbie Lowe, undeniably one of Australia's finest and most influential DJ's for the past two decades, has an ideal; play good quality house music. Staying true to what he loves, Robbie’s consistency as a selector of superior, non commercial electronic sounds see’s him at the top of his game, and has pegged him as the ‘go to’ guy for the most important of jobs. He has toured the world and played warm up sets for some of the world’s most respected underground artists. He holds a residency at the mighty Spice, Sydney’s premier after-hours party.
Considered world class by fans and peers, Robbie Lowe maintains his presence amongst Australia’s electronic music artists as one of the best. His sets speak for themselves, and as a DJ, Robbie has garnered praise of the highest form from some of the biggest names in the business.

B_A
The minimal dark, groovy sounds of B_A (Ben Ashton). Sydney based DJ,
A man whose musical inspiration started in the UK Garage and Jungle scene at the ripe age of 15 listening to turn table pioneers like Heartless Crew, LTJ Bukem and Steveie Hyper D,before making the transistion in his early 20’s to the sounds of Detroit & Chicago.
Ben has played with top brands such as Circo Loco,Space Ibiza,Bedrock,Ibiza Rocks,The Egg,Lost Disco,spinning a fine selection of tunes to deliver a very deep, groovy and driving set to his dance floors. He has had the honour of playing alongside some of his old favourites such as DJ EZ, Paranoid London, Dj Koze, Radioslave, Francois K, Prosumer, Mr C, tiNI, Jef K and Butch to name but a selected few.
His philosophy is to bring a touch of the style and approach of the headliner into his sets, while keeping true to his trademark tone.
The DJ's passions include his Sydney dance project, BAD APPLE going from strength to strength since it started out three years ago and with a host of international acts locked in for the season ahead. This and his weekly vinyl only party JUST:WAX are just some of the highlights Ben is excited to be able to bring you in the full swing summer they have planned in 2014/2015.
Plenty of festivals are in the mix too, including Australia's hottest new boutique weekend getaways Return to Rio and Lost Paradise.
B_A has his second tour Asia locked in for next year and also some studio time finishing off his long awaited EP.
Ben's serious and fun style brings him to the fore of his game, revving up dance floors across a stream of venues, tailoring his tunes to bust the moves of many a crowd. Mesmerising his revellers with a sea of beats from labels such as Atlantic,Baile,Perlon, Anldromeda,Dolly,Mahogany Brown and Silver Network.
Ben will be frequenting parties across Sydney all summer as well as his sets at renowned Melbourne club Revolver and regular guest appearances internationally.
CASSETTE
Cassette's infectious, trademark fusion of house, tech and soul has gained her residencies and guest spots at some of the best clubs and festivals around the world.
Locally, Cassette has toured Australia nationally, performing shows accross the country and gaining a residency at local Sydney underground house hotspot, SPICE.
Internationally, her mixes have been featured on radio stations, websites and blogs around the world resulting in club and festival gigs in LA, New York, Singapore, Indonesia, Dubai, New Caledonia, Mexico, Thailand, New Zealand and Shri Lanka.
From New York Fashion Week to gritty underground havens, Cassette has supported huge names like The Chemical Brothers, John Digweed, Flight Facilities, Jamie Jones, Jacques Renault, Cut Copy, Hot Chip, Mario Basanov and Soul Clap.
Her music knowledge and creativity is not limited to the club scene either, she has worked with numerous high end brands such as Louis Vuitton, Ciroc, Veuve Cliquot, Sass & Bide, Camilla & Marc, Ksubi, We Are Handome, Moet Chandon and Calvin Klein.
Now venturing deeper into the world of production Cassette has been working hard in the studio. Her remix of Jamaica - Van She (Modular) is available for free download via Soundcloud. With many other exciting projects in the pipeline I'd advise you to stay tuned because Cassette is worth the hype!
